Decom Africa was formed in 2017 to specifically develop the decommissioning market in countries within the continent of Africa. It seeks to support African countries to develop and implement effective policies and national regulations for efficient decommissioning of onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities.

Our team is made up of internationally renowned decommissioning experts and leaders who have worked with and established decommissioning policies for government departments globally. It consists of Subject Matter Experts who have worked with international oil companies and have supervised end-to-end decommissioning of offshore platforms as well as Academics who have published and presented papers on decommissioning at international conferences.
