Conference 2020

Conference on Decommissioning of Oil and Gas Assets in Nigeria is a stakeholders’ forum to engage industry in developing a unified approach to the tasks and challenges related to decommissioning oil and gas assets in Nigeria. The conference will provide the opportunity to discuss, analyse, review, evaluate and assess the legal and regulatory framework, financial and commercial arrangements, international and national best practices and methodologies, technologies, management, EPC as well as the role of service providers and local content.

Wide ranging issues comprising the conference sub-themes include review of extant decommissioning legal and regulatory framework, legal assessment of incidence of decommissioning liabilities and responsibilities, evaluation of decommissioning options especially with respect to technologies and financial/ commercial framework, assessment of international best practices and realisable Nigerian content.
